80's Prom Night Massacre

Dust off the hairspray, break out the shoulder pads and get ready to party like it’s 1989 — because Mayhem High is throwing the most totally rad prom night of the decade! On Prom Night, the students, teachers and questionable characters of Mayhem High are gathering beneath the neon lights for one unforgettable night of big hair, bigger egos, power ballads, questionable dance moves and some seriously fierce competition for those coveted Prom King and Queen crowns. But somebody at Mayhem High has more than dancing on their mind. Before the night is over, someone will be murdered. And this isn't a murder mystery you simply sit back and watch — you’re part of the story. When you arrive, you'll receive your own character bio and become one of the students, faculty members or other colourful personalities attending Mayhem High's prom. Your character may have secrets to protect, information to reveal, grudges to settle or motives that could put you right at the top of the suspect list. As the night unfolds, you'll need to mingle with your fellow prom-goers, piece together clues, collect evidence, question suspects and uncover hidden secrets to determine exactly what happened — and who is responsible. Was it the power-hungry class president determined to rule the school? The cheer captain desperate to remain in the spotlight? The ambitious mathlete tired of being overlooked? Or is someone else hiding a much darker secret? Everyone is a suspect. Everyone has something to hide. And the killer could be standing right beside you. Dress for Prom! Dressing in theme is highly encouraged, so this is your excuse to go completely over the top. We're talking neon, leg warmers, acid-wash denim, Members Only jackets, teased hair, scrunchies, shoulder pads, mullets, fingerless gloves, colourful suits, giant prom dresses and enough hairspray to destroy what remains of the ozone layer. Whether you're the prom queen, the school nerd, the jock, the rebel or just someone who took a wrong turn on the way to an aerobics class — dress to impress. Expect a night packed with murder, mystery, comedy, accusations, outrageous characters, 80's nostalgia and plenty of surprises as you attempt to solve the crime before the final song plays. So grab your date, practice your best dance moves and prepare for a prom you'll never forget. Because at Mayhem High...Getting voted Prom King or Queen might be the least of your problems.
